edit introduction

Louisa is a passionate 16 year old girl who works hard each day studying and practicing her craft to be ready for film or stage.

Her training and study is world class as she makes sure to work with people who excel in the places she would love to work!  She studies dance with Stephen Cota and voice with Jennie Such both who work at Stratford Festival Theatre.  Most recently sides and audition dynamics with Ron Leach in Toronto.  That class was her favourite experience to date!  Some clips of her work are on her video page.

Louisa is thrilled to be studying high school through a homeschooling program as she is then able to spend extra time on what she loves.  She is a voracious reader and makes sure to read more and more Classic Literature.  Books such as Les Mis, Lord of the Rings (again), Jane Eyre, Shakespeare (Much Ado About Nothing, Merchant of Venice, Twelfth Night, Romeo & Juliet (again), and Macbeth (again)).  She takes pride in the fact that she copys out Shakespeare’s works over and over again in cursive on the appropriate looking yellowing blank sheets of thick paper.  The book “Anything You Can Imagine: Peter Jackson & The Making of Middle Earth” by Ian Nathan is her favourite for understanding directing, acting, and producing.  She can’t wait to put it all into practice.

Louisa excells in taking leadership.  She rehearses and creates constantly.  She gets work done and you can see those fun times on her Instagram!

In her spare time you’ll find her outside, in the sauna, or knitting wool pieces from the tv show Ann With an E — for all the kindred hopeless romatics.
